Q) Can T2 Service my Location?
A) T2 has an expansive footprint that encompasses roughly 90% of the United States, so there is an excellent chance that you are in our coverage area. Click here to find out.
Q) I only have a single location with 7 employees; do I still qualify for T2's awesome rates?
A) Yes! T2 works with organizations ranging from very small companies, to very large enterprise accounts, and everything in between. Our rates are awesome for any size organization, but remember the more you buy, the more you save.
Internet
Q) I currently use a T-1 for my internet connection and have noticed a new application that I need to run is slowing my internet connection dramatically. What are my options for increasing my bandwidth?
A) T2 not only has the ability to bond T-1's together for combined throughput but also has a full line of Ethernet products to suit your needs.
Q) I am interested in upgrading my company's worthless DSL Internet connection to a Dedicated T-1… Can I use the same router that I used for the DSL?
A) No, unfortunately DSL and T-1 service utilize different technologies and therefore require different hardware. We do offer a terrific value with our refurbished Cisco routers at $299.00 each.
Q) I have 8 offices around the Western United States that I need to connect for the purposes of transferring data on a daily basis. Would your T-1 service work well with my corporate VPN?
A) It would work well for that application, however we also offer a $75.00 per month MPLS T-1 upgrade that would not only give you an "all to all" "fully interlaced" private network, but also Dedicated Internet access at each location. Click here to learn more about T2 MPLS.
VoIP
Q) Can I use my old analog phone system with this VoIP service I am hearing about?
A) It is possible to utilize your old analog system; however it will require the purchase of a special converter/adapter which, depending on your needs might cost more than just buying new VoIP phones.
Keep in mind that you can get basic name brand VoIP phones for $99.00 each and deluxe HD VoIP phones for around $300.00 each.
Q) Can I just order phones and VoIP to use with my Cable/DSL?
A) We do not support VoIP over Cable/DSL. This configuration is not stable and problematic at best. We will support our VoIP service over your existing dedicated bandwidth provided you have the ability to show that you have ample available bandwidth for the VoIP application (i.e. historical bandwidth utilization reports, etc.)
Q) What phone system infrastructure do I need to buy with your VoIP phones?
A) There is no phone system required! The "Brains" of VoIP are housed in T2's data centers. Your new VoIP phones, your local area network, and a robust Internet connection will have you off to the races in no time!
Q) How much money can I expect to save with VoIP?
A) Although there are often money-saving tips encompassed inside of the T2 VoIP offering, we often find the costs are roughly the same as your current configuration. The differences are FEATURES, PRODUCTIVITY, and the fact that you won't have to go back to the drawing board every time you expand, contract, move, or modify your business plan. The intelligence of T2's network grants you access to the best platform in the world, and the fluidity to make the underlying network an asset to your business, not a distraction from it.
